For paralysis ticks control it is recommended that Bravecto Spot-on be used in conjunction with daily searching for and removal of any ticks found as the risk of tick paralysis cannot be entirely eliminated. Speak with your veterinarian for advice on tick searching and removal techniques.

It is important to apply Bravecto Spot-on for Cats to the skin on the back of the head, as per the diagram. Do not use directly on any skin lesions. As cats are fastidious groomers, applying to this location is important to prevent your cat from licking the wet application site. To make application easier, have your cat standing during application. It may be helpful to have someone else gently hold your cat or have your cat lying on its stomach while you apply Bravecto Spot-on for Cats . If your cat is larger than 6.25 kg we recommend applying the product in two spots. If multiple cats are treated and may mutually groom, it is recommended that cats are separated while product dries.

No. The cap is not designed or intended to be removed. Twist the cap one full turn until you feel the seal break and then invert the pipette to express the product.

No. Opening the cap breaks an internal seal that cannot be closed by turning the cap back. Once the pipette is opened, the pet should be treated as soon as possible. Bravecto Spot-on for Cats will begin to evaporate after opening.

Bravecto Spot-on for Cats can be administered to cats as early as 9 weeks of age. Cats should weigh at least 1.2 kg.

For cats above 12.5 kg body weight, use a combination of two pipettes that most closely matches the body weight.

You should wait until the application area is dry before touching the area.

It is always best to discuss all your cat’s treatments with your veterinarian as they are your cat’s health care expert.

After you give your cat Bravecto Spot-on for Cats, the active ingredient quickly reaches tissue fluids just under your cat’s skin. When fleas and ticks feed, they take in Bravecto and die.

Pre-existing and new infestations of fleas are killed in up to 12 hours after treatment for 3 months. Pre-existing and new infestations of paralysis ticks are killed within 48 hours of treatment, effectively killing > 95% of paralysis ticks at 72 hours for 3 months. As treatment alone will not entirely eliminate the risk of tick paralysis, daily tick searching is also recommended.

No. Bravecto Spot-on for Cats kills fleas and prevents new flea infestations for up to 3 months. As the majority of a flea population developing in the environment will emerge as adult fleas over this time, Bravecto Spot-on will effectively control the flea infestation.

The safety of Bravecto Spot-on for Cats has not been established during breeding, pregnancy or lactation.

Fleas can continually re-infest treated cats – either from juvenile flea life stages that have just matured to adults in the household or from fleas that jump onto the pet when outside or visiting other homes. Bravecto Spot-on for Cats will quickly kill these fleas (within 12 hours). Also, as fleas die, they can move from the skin surface where they feed, to the tips of the hairs in the coat, making them more visible to the human eye.
